"Om Shanti – Once Upon a Time in Bollywood"

August 23-25 at the Long Center, Austin Tx

Every fairytale you fell in love with always began with “Once upon a time”, and so does this one. Om Shanti is a tale that tells the story of Om, a court dancer madly in love with the princess, Shanti; and a land called Bollywood, whose soul was song and dance until “the incident” changed everything. A saga on stage: of celebration, friendship, hope, love, life, after-life, revenge, and more, all rolled into one big fat musical – Bollywood style!

Endru Thaniyum

Rejected and feared by many, India's transgender community holds a complex place in society. Here is a story of two childhood friends and when one of them is a transgender and well educated tries to help the other in crises and faces one of her own... Society sometimes goes with preconceived notion rather than looking at the reality in an objective manner, she understands that fact. Change is not something that happens overnight in the society. Society’s perspective will change if the community changes. Directionfx is very proud to announce its second short film Endru Thaniyum (When will it End?) has been selected as Best Social Short film in New York International Film Festival.

You Can - Short Film

'You Can' explains the importance of self-confidence. It is about how a small incident changes a life of a physically challenged man. However your life is self-confidence is the seed to growth. It germinates motivation and hope. Every ounce of hope moves us a touch closer to inner tranquility. Quantifying human efforts by the absolute measure of its success is the norm. To aspire, to stride forward even in an alien environment , to be aware of the self, to attempt to surge ahead, are all building blocks of the way to the podium. As they say, it is always a small step for a man, but a giant stride for mankind. Believe. Beware. Be aware. You can.
